Greetings to you in His precious
Name. By His grace we are all doing fine and working hard for the Lord. We are
spreading the Word in many unreached areas of Gannavaram. Many new gospel
workers have committed themselves to joining us in our endeavors. We have
begun a work in a place called Tenneru. Twenty accepted Jesus and were
baptized. A gospel worker, T. Devadanam, is helping us with the congregation
which is growing day by day. Two weeks ago we made a thatched prayer hall with
the cooperation of the new believers. We need your valuable prayers for this
young congregation. We are in need of electrical power so that we can conduct
prayer meetings at night. This village has no proper facility for drinking
water. We hope to install a hand pump at a cost of $200 which would benefit
more than forty families living here. We are also praying for tools such as
films, a projector, and Bibles. It has become apparent that a rice kitchen
is needed in Gannavaram. The believers there are very poor and it is our desire
to love them by providing at least one hot meal on Sundays. Already we have
begun doing this with our limited resources but hope to receive additional
support in the future. Last week we attended a meeting for the workers in
Chilakaluripet. Brother John David celebrated his seventy-second birthday. It
was celebrated as "the day of evangelism. "All prayed for his good health and
long life. Dr. D.V. Daniel and Bro. Kandavelli James graced the occasion.
Before we left we called on Brother David in his office. He prayed for us,
blessed and encouraged us. We praise the Lord for his leadership abilities.
Sister Sydney is doing well. Three times a week she ministers to the women
in the nearby villages of Avutapalli, Balliparru, Ajjambudi, Davajigudem, and
Gannavaram. Most are sick and aged women who toil in the fields. Please pray
for Sister Sydney and her ministry as well as the rest of the workers here
serving the Lord until His return. From Kiran and Aseesh
