| Dear Partner: All of us here at World Missions Far Corners want to thank you for your gift to the Lord's work, which we know comes backed by your prayers. Even though so many are having a hard time making ends meet these days, your faithfulness reminds us of a saying we once heard, "you can live for LESS, if you had MORE to live for." The poorest of poor here in the U.S. and in Canada are wealthy in comparison to millions of the world's poor. Many have never once in their lives enjoyed a real meal, nor have their children. Their limbs are emaciated, their eyes dull, stomachs are swollen beyond belief from eating coarse grain with water. They have no furniture, no dwelling place, except the streets where multitudes sleep at night regardless of weather. It's unbelievable, but it's true! It's sad to die from lack of bread, and death which is physical and often desired more than life; but far worse, they die for lack of the Bread of Life, which could lead to Life Everlasting. Thank you for caring and sharing with others in desperate need. "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." Luke 6:38. That all may hear and receive, WORLD MISSIONS FAR CORNERS, INC. Patricia L. Murdock-Cook, President |
